The Lawn Guy

About The Lawn Guy

Late evening near Idle Hour Park, the heat finally lets go and the last stripes of a fresh cut show up in the low light like combed velvet. The Lawn Guy carries a Phenix City yard through the long growing season — mowing, trimming, edging, cleanup — and then keeps showing up on the handful of mornings each winter when ice glazes the concrete and the drive needs clearing before work. Two halves of one year, and both come down to the same thing: getting there on time, doing it all the way to the corners. Grass in this valley barely slows down, so the schedule is the craft as much as the blade is. Green months or gray, the house should look tended and the walk should be safe to use.
