About Fond of Lawns

By late March the Riverwalk is edged in dogwood and everything in Phenix City wears a fine yellow coat of pine pollen. Fond of Lawns starts its season in that green rush, mowing, edging and trimming as the turf wakes and begins climbing. The name is honest about the feeling: there is genuine affection in keeping a lawn even, its borders crisp, its corners never forgotten. Summer here is long and demanding, and a yard kept on schedule looks calm all the way through it. Autumn cleanups gather the leaves and put the whole thing to bed.
