About Southern Green Lawn & Shrub Care

Buck Creek threads through this corner of Shelby County, and the yards along it grow azalea, holly and boxwood the way other places grow fence posts. Southern Green Lawn & Shrub Care looks after both halves of that picture: turf mowed, edged and kept clear of weeds, and shrubs shaped so they hold their form instead of swallowing the windows. Late winter is for the hard pruning; spring is for feeding and getting ahead of whatever wants to sprout in the beds. There is real pleasure in stepping back from a trimmed hedge line and seeing a house sit properly in its own yard again. Pelham gives a long growing season, and the route runs most of it.
