About Southeast Yard Specialists

In Ozark the morning starts with a low drum of rotors passing over the wiregrass, and under that sound the mowers go out. Southeast Yard Specialists works the lawns of Dale County — the deep red clay that grows Bermuda thick as carpet once June arrives, and the pine shade where grass has to be coaxed along. Mowing, trimming, edging and a clean blow-down of every walk: that is the whole day, repeated until a yard looks like someone has been minding it. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass, when the line along the drive is straight enough to sight down. Come autumn, when the peanut fields go dusty and the light turns long and gold, the same route is still running, keeping Ozark squared away.
