About Southern Pride Landscaping

The old mill village streets on Opelika's south side still run in their tidy rows, small porches close to the sidewalk, shade trees planted long before anybody living there now was born. Southern Pride Landscaping mows and edges through those blocks, working narrow yards where a clean line matters far more than acreage. Fall arrives slowly in Lee County — the heat finally lets go somewhere in late October — and the work shifts toward blowing and clearing as the pecans turn loose. There is pride in a small yard cut square, its edges crisp against the walk, not a clipping left in the street. A whole block starts looking better when one of them does.
