The Plains Landscaping

About The Plains Landscaping

West of town the country opens up — wide, gently tilted ground that folks around here have always called the Plains, big sky over it, pines drawing a dark line at the far edge. The Plains Landscaping mows the lawns out that way, the deep ones with room to run a machine and the tight ones in town that ask for patience, edging and trimming both. In full sun all day a lawn hides nothing, so the cut has to be right or the whole yard tells on you. There is something plain and good about finishing a stretch of grass, shutting the engine off, and hearing the quiet come back in. Then on to the next one, walks blown clear, lines holding.
