About Yardsman Lawn Services LLC

Morning comes to Northport off the Black Warrior River, a soft haze sitting on the water until the sun burns it off the brick blocks of Main Avenue. Yardsman Lawn Services LLC keeps the grass on this side of the river — the older lots near Kentuck, the pine-shaded places out toward Coker and Samantha, the wide Bermuda lawns that go deep green in a West Alabama June. Mowing here is a conversation with heat: cut it at the right height, run the edge clean along the walk, and a yard will hold that line through the long afternoons. The best part is the last pass, when the trimmer has squared every fence corner, the clippings are blown off the drive, and the whole place looks like it has finally exhaled. Come fall the water oaks let go all at once, and the work turns to hauling leaves off before the first cold rain mats them down. The aim never changes — a yard that reads as cared for from the street.
