Cottonwood Lawns

About Cottonwood Lawns

Come October the bottomland fields around New Hope give their dust up to the combines, and for a couple of weeks it settles on porches, drives and every blade of grass in the county. Cottonwood Lawns clears all of that off, blowing down hard surfaces, raking out beds, and moving leaves off lawns before the wet weather mats them flat. Through the warm months it is mowing, string trimming and edging, held to a steady turn so no yard falls behind. This is flat, open country where a lawn can be seen from a long way off, and a straight cut carries. There is a plain pleasure in a yard left clear and level with the harvest going on around it.
