Stidham's lawn care

About Stidham's lawn care

West of Moulton the land tips toward Bankhead, and the morning comes up out of the hollows in long ribbons of fog. Stidham's lawn care starts in that gray hour, when the grass is still heavy and the first pass leaves one dark stripe behind the mower. Mowing, trimming and edging are the whole of the work here, taken row by row until a Lawrence County yard reads as clean as a turned field. Clippings get blown off the drive, the walk line gets cut in sharp, and the yard is handed back before the afternoon heat settles over the rows along 157. It is plain work, and there is something in looking back down a finished lawn that never gets old.
