About Spurgeon and Son Lawn Care LLC

The truck is loaded before the sun clears the pines — ramps down, mower off, trimmer and blower in hand, and the first Moody yard of the day finished before most people have found their keys. Spurgeon and Son Lawn Care LLC works the route that way, mailbox to mailbox, mowing and edging and trimming and moving on. There is a plainness to it that suits this town: no fuss, just a lawn that looks looked-after when you pull in that evening. Central Alabama will hand you grass that grows straight through the heat and leaves that come down for a solid month, and both get handled in turn. The effect adds up — a street where you can tell, without anybody saying so, which yards are on the list.
