About A& C Landscaping and Design

Old Cloverdale bends its streets around oaks that were standing before the pavement, and the yards tucked behind those brick walks want a careful hand more than a fast one. A& C Landscaping and Design mows, edges, trims and clears those lots, reading each one for where the shade holds all morning and where the Bermuda finally gets its full stretch of afternoon. Design sits in the name because a Montgomery yard is a composition — the line beside a walk, the shape of a bed under a crape myrtle, a lawn meeting the curb without argument. In April the pine pollen turns a whole block the color of cornmeal and half the job is carrying it away; by June the mowing settles into a rhythm you could set a clock by. The crew leaves wanting one thing obvious from the street: someone tends this place, and tends it gladly.
