About DMEZA'S LANDSCAPING LLC

June evenings in Montevallo stretch out gold and long, and the heat finally lets go about the time the mowers are finishing. DMEZA'S LANDSCAPING LLC works that window — cutting, trimming and edging while the light is kind and the grass is still standing up from the morning. Thunderheads build off to the southwest most afternoons here, so the schedule bends around the sky and every yard gets its turn either way. What stays behind is a lawn with no ragged tuft around the light pole, a mailbox post cut close, and stripes running true across the front. It is ordinary work carried all the way out to the edges, in a town where people sit on the porch afterward and look at it.
