About Lawntrepreneur

Down along Dog River the yards run all the way to the bulkhead, and the grass grows thick where the water light bounces back off the docks. Lawntrepreneur mows, edges and trims those lawns and the ones climbing back up toward Dauphin Island Parkway, keeping a straight line where lawn meets seawall and pier. Working near the water asks for attention — clippings kept out of the river, edges held tight along boat ramps and bulkheads, the turf kept even where salt breeze and sun both have their say. There is a builder's instinct in the name, and it shows in the route: yards taken on one by one, each finished to the same standard before the next one starts. By late afternoon the mowers are loaded and the river is going gold, and the block of cut lawns behind the truck reads like a day well spent.
