Camellia Landscapes

About Camellia Landscapes

Mobile does its blooming out of order. While much of the country is frozen, camellias open here in January along old fences and shaded drives, pink and white against wet dark leaves. Camellia Landscapes works that mild off-season and every other one — landscape planting, bed shaping and mulching, shrub trimming, and the steady mowing, edging and cleanup that carries a yard from one bloom to the next. Out toward the edges of town the gardens run generous, and the pleasure is in matching them. A finished bed, edged clean and freshly mulched, is a small argument in favor of paying attention.
