About Wright's Nursery & Landscaping

By the middle of October the mountain turns — maples going copper above the laurel, the first frost silvering yards along the brow before the sun clears the ridge. Wright's Nursery & Landscaping spends that stretch of the year gathering leaves off DeKalb County lawns and taking the season's last cuts while the ground is still firm. Through the warm months it is the ordinary rhythm instead: mowing on schedule, trimming the edges the mower can't reach, keeping beds and borders clear. Cold air, a raked yard, smoke drifting from a chimney somewhere below the rim — a place put in order for winter has a settled look to it. Then April comes back up the mountain and the whole cycle opens again.
