About Green Care Landscaping

McCalla sits in the ridge-and-valley country where Jefferson County gives way to Tuscaloosa, near the old furnace stacks at Tannehill and within earshot of the interstate's far-off hum. March breaks green fast on these slopes, and by the second warm week every yard along the ridge roads is asking for its first cut. Green Care Landscaping meets that opening with mowing, edging, trimming and a thorough cleanup of what winter left in the beds and along the fence line. Sloped lawns and hardwood shade make for uneven growth, so the finish matters: even height, sharp borders, driveways blown back to clean. A yard handled that way looks like somebody meant it, which is the whole idea.
