About Camellia Ridge Landscaping LLC

Marion keeps its cedars and its courthouse square, and deep in a Black Belt winter the camellias come on anyway — red and pink against dark green while the rest of the county rests. Camellia Ridge Landscaping LLC works Perry County lawns straight through that turn of the year, from the dormant months into the first flush of spring growth. The prairie soil here holds water and grows grass thick, so mowing, edging and trimming have to keep a firm schedule or the season runs away. There is a particular pleasure in a shaded old yard brought back to order: leaves gone, borders sharp, the walk swept clean to the gate. In a town this handsome, a well-kept lawn belongs to the street as much as to the house.
