Sherer Lawncare

About Sherer Lawncare

June mornings in the hollows outside Jasper start under fog, the low ground white until the sun finally burns down into it. Sherer Lawncare is already rolling by then, waiting out the worst of the dew before the first cut and working the route while the day is still bearable. Mowing, trimming, edging, cleanups — the ordinary list, done in order, week after week through a growing season that runs long down here. What makes it worth doing is the finish: even stripes laid across a front yard, a border that follows the walk without wandering, clippings gone instead of scattered. Homes and businesses in Jasper and the towns around it keep the schedule full.
