Northern Roots Lawn Care

About Northern Roots Lawn Care

The Flint River comes down out of the limestone hills above New Market, cold and clear, and the fields it runs through green up ahead of everything else. Northern Roots Lawn Care works this upper end of Madison County — mowing, edging, trimming the ditch lines and fence rows, and hauling off what gets cut. Ground this shallow over rock bakes hard in August and grows like a rumor in May, so the routes shift with whatever rain the valley gets. Fall brings the leaf work, sycamore and hickory, week after week until the branches stand bare against the ridges. It is ordinary work done in a pretty place, and it holds up well.
