About Landscaping Guys

Late May in Jones Valley, and the zoysia finally decides to grow. Landscaping Guys work the long yards under Weatherly Road, where the ground rolls toward the mountain and nearly every lot has a slope in it somewhere. Mowing, edging, trimming, hauling off the clippings and leaves — the plain list, run on a schedule that holds all the way through an Alabama summer. There is a particular pleasure in the last pass, when the beds are cut clean at the border and the grass lies down in one direction. Huntsville grows fast and green, and keeping even with it is the whole of the job.
