About Fescue Outdoors

November in the Monte Sano foothills is fescue's favorite month — cool nights, soft ground, and grass that finally grows for the pleasure of it instead of out of spite. Fescue Outdoors leans into that turn of the calendar with mowing that stays regular past the point most yards get abandoned, edges kept sharp, and leaf cleanup as the hardwoods above the neighborhoods give it all up at once. Cool-season turf in a warm-season town takes attention: mow high, keep the blades clean, clear the leaf mat before it smothers anything. The reward shows up in January, when half the street is dormant tan and one yard is still holding its color. Then spring arrives and the whole cycle begins again with the mower already running.
