About Alabama Turf Works

By July, Helena's heat has weight to it. Thunderheads stack up over the ridge east of town through the afternoon, and the bermuda and zoysia grow like they mean it — an inch of neglect turns shaggy in a week. Alabama Turf Works stays ahead of that, mowing on a schedule the grass can feel, edging drives and walks to a clean line, trimming what the deck cannot reach, and blowing the clippings off the concrete. There is real satisfaction in stepping back from a yard cut in even passes while the storm builds off to the east. Summer here pays back anybody willing to show up in the heat and finish the job properly.
