About GrassRoots Turf

By the second week of June the red clay under Heflin has gone hard, the cicadas have found their volume, and the grass wants a schedule rather than a favor. GrassRoots Turf keeps that schedule — mowing at a height that suits an Alabama summer, trimming what the mower can't reach, edging walks and drives back to a clean line, and clearing the cuttings when the work is done. A yard cut this way holds its shape straight through the heat and looks intentional from the street, which is the point. The forest ridges west of town do their own wild thing; a lawn is the one green a person gets to author. GrassRoots Turf works Heflin, Edwardsville, Fruithurst and Ranburne.
