Woodards lawn care

About Woodards lawn care

By October the light here goes long and gold, laying across the fields on its way north to the Tennessee line. Woodards lawn care works that cooler end of the year the way it works the hot one: a steady cut while the grass still asks for one, then leaves gathered off the turf before they mat down and smother what is underneath. Fence lines and tree rings get trimmed back sharp, walks and drives are cleaned down to bare concrete, and the beds are cleared so a yard goes into winter tidy instead of tangled. There is real satisfaction in the last pass at dusk, with crisp edges and nothing left scattered, the whole place squared away as the porch lights come on. Come spring it begins again, and the ground remembers who kept it.
