About Five Star Lawn and Landscaping, Inc.

By one o'clock in July the Tennessee Valley builds its own weather, thunderheads stacking white over the fields east of Hazel Green while the cicadas keep count. Five Star Lawn and Landscaping, Inc. reads that sky for a living: take the open yards while the light holds, save the ones under the pecan shade for the hot end of the afternoon. The work is mowing, trimming, edging, bed and border cleanup, and landscaping that gives a yard some shape. There is a real pleasure in finishing a lawn ten minutes before the first fat drops hit the road. Grass grows fast in that heat, and staying ahead of it is most of the job.
