About C&R Lawncare

By late June, dusk in Hazel Green belongs to the fireflies that lift out of the Bermuda grass a few minutes after the mower shuts off. C&R Lawncare is a lawn care outfit built around that hour — the cut made in the cool of the evening, the passes laid straight across a wide flat yard, the clippings taken off the walk and dropped back into the turf where they do some good. Trimming handles the fence corners and the base of the crepe myrtle; edging gives the driveway its line back. Summer in the Tennessee Valley is long and generous to grass, so the route rarely slows, and that suits them fine. A yard that looks right on a Thursday evening is its own reward.
