About Burgess Land Management LLC

Property in this part of Blount County rarely stops at the yard — it runs on past the pecan tree into pasture edge, ditch bank and pine line. Burgess Land Management LLC keeps the mown part sharp and the rest from closing in, with regular mowing, edging, trimming out fence rows and mailbox posts, and cleanups that put brush and limbs where they belong. Summer storms build over the ridges in the afternoon and leave the ground littered; that pickup is part of the work. In fall the hickories and sweetgums let go nearly at once, and the whole place needs clearing before the ground turns soft. The reward is simple and visible: a place that reads as tended all the way to the tree line.
