About Argueta's landscaping

Morning reaches Hartselle by way of the rail line — a horn somewhere south of town, then light climbing the brick storefronts along Main Street. Argueta's landscaping is a lawn care business that begins its days about then, while the grass still holds dew and the first pass leaves a darker stripe behind the machine. There is honest pride in a yard cut straight, a hard line run where the turf meets the walk, and clippings cleared off the drive so nothing is left but the shape of the work. Across a long Morgan County summer, when bermuda grows back nearly as fast as it is cut, the route comes around again and again. The payoff is small and repeatable: a lot in Hartselle that reads as cared for from the road.
