About Erby's Lawn Care and Landscaping

Spring reaches Grant a little later than the valley below, and when it arrives the dogwoods light up the hollows off the mountain in white. Erby's Lawn Care and Landscaping opens the season then — first cuts, edges re-drawn, beds cleaned out of a winter's worth of leaves. Up on the plateau the ground runs red and rocky, and the yards are big, sloping off toward field or woods. There's a good feeling in the first mow of the year, a whole place going from ragged to kept in one afternoon. From there it's weekly, straight through to the last warm week of fall.
