The Lawn Ranger

About The Lawn Ranger

Down in the far southeast corner of the state, Gordon sits close to the Chattahoochee, where the land flattens into Wiregrass sand and the peanut fields run to the treeline. The Lawn Ranger mows, edges, trims and cleans up yards through town and out along the county roads. Summer heat starts early here and stays late, so routes begin while the dew is still down and the shade still counts for something. A good July afternoon builds a thunderhead over the Georgia side and drops it by four, after which everything grows another inch. Cut level, edged, blown off clean — a yard that looks tended even in the heaviest green of the year.
