About Geraldine Turf

Midsummer on the mountain, and the fields around Geraldine run corn-green to the horizon while the lawns in town hold their stripes for days. Geraldine Turf is after those stripes: mowing high enough to keep the color, in clean parallel passes, trimming what the deck cannot reach, edging where grass meets concrete, and blowing the clippings off the hard surfaces. Turf up here grows strong in the plateau heat and cools down at night, which makes for a fine lawn if somebody stays on it. Leaves and fall cleanup follow when the season turns over. Pulling out of a driveway with the whole yard lined up behind you is the best part of the day.
