About ProTurf LLC

When September finally loosens its grip on the heat, the ball fields around Gadsden go quiet in the evenings and the grass gets its second wind. ProTurf LLC pays attention to the turf itself — mowing at a height the grass can carry, edging clean along walks and drives, trimming what no mower can reach, and clearing the leaves that come down in sheets once the hardwoods on the ridges turn. Grass in this part of Alabama lives two lives, sprinting through the humid months and resting through a short winter, and any lawn will show you which weeks it was tended and which were skipped. Keeping that calendar honest is most of the craft. The payoff is a yard that holds its color and its lines from one end of the year to the other.
