The Cutting Edge Lawn and Garden

About The Cutting Edge Lawn and Garden

On a June evening the air by the Coosa goes soft and gold, and the mowed lawns down along the river hold the last of the light. The Cutting Edge Lawn and Garden keeps Gadsden yards in that condition — held at a height that suits the season, trimmed in tight around every obstacle, edged along the concrete, and cleared of clippings so the finish is complete. Warm-season grass here grows fast enough to punish a missed week, so the schedule is as much of the craft as the blade is. Leaves in autumn, cut-back in the cool months, then back to weekly work when the ground warms. It is a small satisfaction, a lawn that looks right at dusk, and it never gets old.
