About Burt Junk Removal & Lawn Care

Spring in Wills Valley shows up as redbud first, then dogwood, then everything at once. Burt Junk Removal & Lawn Care meets it in Fort Payne with the season's least glamorous and most satisfying job — cutting the first grass, clearing out a winter's worth of brush and leaves, and hauling the pile off instead of stacking it at the curb. From there it settles into routine: regular mowing, trimmed fence lines, beds edged so the mulch stays where it was put. There is a particular pleasure in a yard that was a thicket in March and a clean green rectangle by May. That transformation is the entire point of the work.
