About Stemen’s services

From the high ground on the north bank the Tennessee River goes copper in November, and the lawns above it hold that last stubborn green a few weeks longer than they ought to. Stemen's services works Florence through that stretch and all the warm months before it — mowing while the grass runs, then shifting to the cleanup that autumn demands, clearing leaves and cuttings off turf, walks and drive. Late-season work has a particular reward: a yard put fully to bed, nothing scattered, the shape of the lot visible again under a low sun. The mowing itself is unhurried and exact, edges kept honest, corners not skipped. That care is what carries a lawn from one season into the next in good order.
