About Johnathan's Lawn Service

By late October the oaks around Guthrie Smith Park go copper and begin letting go, and every yard in Fayette needs a hand for a few weeks running. Johnathan's Lawn Service works right through it — mowing while the grass still asks for it, edging the walks back to a clean line, raking and hauling off the leaves that drift against porch steps. Autumn in west Alabama is slow and warm and spends a month at what a northern fall does in a week, so the work stays patient. A yard raked bare with the light coming in sideways is worth standing around to look at. Fayette, Belk and Winfield are within reach.
