The Yard Doctor

About The Yard Doctor

August humidity settles over Enterprise like a wet quilt, and a lawn will tell you how it is doing if you read it: thin spots, dull color, growth going sideways. The Yard Doctor answers with the steady stuff, mowing at the height the grass wants, keeping the borders sharp, working the trimmer under the shrubs, and lifting the clippings so nothing mats and sours in the heat. When winter lands one of its rare punches on Coffee County, the same attention goes to clearing and treating drives, walkways and lots before the morning traffic. Grass down here recovers fast when it is given a routine to recover into. That is the whole prescription, really.
