Hardy's Ground Effects

About Hardy's Ground Effects

East of Elmore the ground rolls toward the Tallapoosa, and yards out that way rarely have the courtesy of being flat. Hardy's Ground Effects reads the contour before anything else: where a mower wants to slide, where water runs after a storm, which direction the pass should fall so the stripes follow the land instead of fighting it. Mowing, edging, trimming and clearing a yard down clean is the week's work, done on slopes and level ground alike. A lawn cut with the shape of the ground under it looks twice as good and takes twice the thought. When the light comes in low across a hillside yard late in the afternoon, every one of those lines shows.
