About Grass Assassins inc.

Left alone for three wet weeks, an Elmore fence line will grow a jungle out of crabgrass, briar and whatever the birds dropped last fall. Grass Assassins inc. goes after exactly that: mowing overgrown yards back down to lawn, edging the walks out from under the encroachment, trimming fence lines and tree rings, and hauling the mess away. The turnaround is the best part of the work, a before-and-after you can read from the road at forty miles an hour. The growing season here runs long and generous, so nothing stays tamed on its own. Which is fine. It means there is always another lot waiting to be brought back.
