About LakeScape

Lake Martin holds its green water against the red dirt and pines of Elmore County, and Eclectic is the town that keeps the north side of it. LakeScape works the ground where lawn meets water — turf carried down the slope, beds shaped along the shoreline, a clean edge held where a yard gives way to a dock or a boathouse walk. Summer means the whole family arrives Friday evening, so the grass gets cut before the boats do anything at all; the cool months mean cleanups, mulch and beds put right while the water is low and quiet. Eclectic and the lake country around it are the territory — Kowaliga, Claud, Santuck, Tallassee, Dadeville and Wetumpka. A shoreline lawn running clean to the water is the view everyone came for.
