About Reed Services LLC

This corner of Alabama took its nickname from a grass — wiregrass, tough and clumped, growing between longleaf pines in ground that is more sand than soil. Reed Services LLC works the domesticated version of that country: mowing, edging, string trimming, drives and walks blown off, beds kept clear of whatever falls into them. Late August is the real test, when the heat sits heavy and the turf still wants cutting every week, and the schedule simply does not blink. Then the light angles, the pines start dropping straw, and the season turns toward cleanups and leaf work. A kept lawn out here is a small weekly argument with the wild, and it is a pleasure to win.
