About Lakewood Landscape Group

Late October out past Kinsey, the pastures fill with small ponds that hold the sky flat and still until a heron breaks them. Lakewood Landscape Group keeps yards through that season and every other one — mowing, edging, trimming, bed and border upkeep, and the fall cleanups that get leaves and pine straw off a lawn before it goes dormant. Winter around Dothan is mild and then, once in a while, it is not: an ice morning locks the county down overnight, and the same crew clears driveways, walkways and lots so the day can happen anyway. Grass in this part of Alabama grows on its own schedule and stops on nobody's, which is why the work runs on a calendar rather than a whim. The result is a property that looks tended in July and stays passable in January.
