About Cook's Lawn Care Service, LLC

October in Houston County smells like cut grass and pecan hulls, and the light comes in low and gold across the groves on the road toward Headland. Cook's Lawn Care Service, LLC keeps mowing right through it; growth slows, but a lawn still wants an even cut and a sharp edge before it goes dormant for the short Wiregrass winter. Mowing, trimming and edging, week in and week out, from the first flush of March green to the last mild afternoons of fall. Under the pecans a mower has to work around fallen limbs and thin, shaded turf, and that is where the care shows. A yard put to bed tidy in November comes back better in spring.
