About River City Lawn Service and Landscaping

Two rivers meet at Demopolis — the Black Warrior folding into the Tombigbee just above the lock — and everything here takes its cue from that water, including the June humidity that grows an inch of grass overnight. River City Lawn Service and Landscaping keeps pace with it: weekly cuts, edges held tight, string trimming down the fence lines, beds shaped and mulched. Come December, when the boats light up for Christmas on the River, the yards on the list are cleared out and buttoned down for the cool months. Weekly stops fill in around Demopolis — Linden, Jefferson, Gallion and Faunsdale. Down here a lawn is a race you can absolutely win, one week at a time.
