Mateos Lawn Care

About Mateos Lawn Care

There is a particular week in November when the last cut of the year goes down, the air smells like woodsmoke, and Decatur lawns go quiet until March. Mateos Lawn Care works right up to that week and starts again on the far side of it — mowing, edging along drives and sidewalks, trimming the places a deck cannot reach, and clearing the clippings off every hard surface. In between there are beds to mulch, shrubs to shape and leaves to move, load after load, until the turf is clean. West of town the fields open up and the wind crosses them cold; in the neighborhoods the shade trees hold their leaves a little longer. Either way the yard gets left better than it was found.
