About Strickland Lawn and Landscaping

By March the azaleas around Olde Towne Daphne have gone off all at once, pink against the dark of the live oaks, and suddenly every yard on the street has something to live up to. Strickland Lawn and Landscaping does the keeping — mowing, string trimming, edging along beds and walkways, and cleanups when the oak leaves and pollen come down. Good work here is mostly restraint: a bed line held true, grass at the right height, nothing shaggy where the eye naturally lands. Daphne's growing season runs long and generous, and a yard tended weekly through it never has to be fought back later. What is left is a place that looks composed from the mailbox in.
