Daphne Mow Co

About Daphne Mow Co

Daphne is the Jubilee City, and on certain still August nights the bay gives up its crabs and flounder to the shallows while half the town walks down with buckets. Daphne Mow Co works the mornings after nights like that, when the air hangs heavy, the grass is soaked and every lawn on the bluff needs cutting at once. Mowing sets the pace, trimming cleans the corners the deck cannot reach, edging draws the boundary back along the curb. Yard cleanups carry off whatever the coastal weather knocks loose. It is ordinary work in an unordinary place, and the results line the streets all the way down to the shore.
