Andrews Lawn & Garden

About Andrews Lawn & Garden

Daphne faces west across Mobile Bay, which means the whole town gets the sunset delivered to it — water going copper, the far shore reduced to a thin dark line. Andrews Lawn & Garden works the cooler hours ahead of that light, mowing the lawns that slope toward the water and trimming beds and borders back to a definite outline. Coastal humidity keeps grass growing here nearly year-round, so the route rarely rests. Edging along the sidewalks gives a yard its shape; the mowing gives it its calm. When the sun drops and the porch lights come on, the yards along the bluff look as settled as the bay itself.
