ALTA Lawn Care

About ALTA Lawn Care

Daphne wakes early on the bluff above Mobile Bay, when the water is still pewter and the light hasn't decided what color it wants to be. ALTA Lawn Care is out in that hour, while dew still weights the blades and the first pass reads clean all the way to the fence. Mowing, edging, string trimming and bed upkeep are the whole of the trade here, done street by street across town. There's a particular satisfaction in a lawn that looks combed rather than cut — the curb line sharp, the clippings gone, nothing left but green and shadow. By the time the water turns blue, the yard is finished and the morning belongs to whoever lives there.
