Cameron's Lawn Service

About Cameron's Lawn Service

Danville lies where north Alabama starts to fold, pasture running up against the ridges that lead off toward the Bankhead woods, hardwood turning early on the high ground. Cameron's Lawn Service cuts on that rolling land, reading a slope before the first pass so the stripes follow the ground instead of fighting it. In autumn the work leans toward cleanup, raking leaf fall off the grass before it mats down for winter. Mowing, trimming and edging carry the rest of the year, week by week through the long green stretch from April on. The reward is small and real: a trimmed line at the drive, and a yard that holds its shape when the frost comes.
